Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to make a reservation for class?

Nope!  It’s not required to sign up in advance for a regularly scheduled class, but we do encourage it.  Signing up in advance ensures you’ve got a spot and also allows the instructor to have equipment prepped for you just in case you’re running a bit late and can’t arrive before class begins.  Our classes are intentionally small to allow the best quality instruction but as long as space allows, we love to welcome drop-ins!

Advance registration is required for special events.  Special event classes that do not meet minimum sign-ups by the registration deadline are subject to cancellation.

What time should I get there?

We recommend you arrive 10 minutes before class begins so you can check-in and settle into the studio.  If it’s your first time joining us, you might want a few additional minutes to complete the waiver.  Our door is locked once class begins for safety, so it is important that you arrive on time.

Members have 24/7 access to the fitness center, however, we ask that no one enters a class that has been in session beyond 5 minutes without receiving prior approval from the instructor.  Missing out on leading instruction or warm-up can because of injury and late entry is a disruption to the overall progress of the entire class.

What do I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes in which you can freely move.  Many find tighter work out clothes that stay put during movement more comfortable than baggy clothing.  Yoga, Barre, and Pilates are practiced barefoot or in non-slip socks.  Shoes should be worn in Zumba and Sculpt + Sweat.

In consideration of the sensitivities of members of our community, we ask that you please refrain from wearing perfumes or heavy fragrances to class.

What’s the age limit?

Girls age 12-15 are welcome to attend a class with a guardian.  Over the age of 16 are welcome to attend a class on their own, however all under the age of 18 must have a waiver completed by a guardian before attending their first class at New Day Yoga and Fitness.

What are your business hours?

Members have 24/7 access to the fitness center.  Instructors or desk staff are onsite 15 minutes before a scheduled class.

We are more than happy to meet by appointment at a time that works best for your schedule!  Our goal is to provide flexible fitness that fits your busy life!

Are the classes just for women?

Yes, New Day Yoga and Fitness is exclusive to women.

Occasionally there will be a special event, like Yoga Wine Down, that will include men but this will be announced in advance.
